As artists continue to release new music, many still offer their work for purchase in various formats such as CD, vinyl, or cassette, often as collectibles. However, an unexplored avenue with vast potential is the realm of VHS albums, which unlike the previously mentioned formats, VHS can store both audio and video, providing an unparalleled experience for the consumer.
I took on the challenge of designing the packaging for the VHS tape version of City Morgue's albums City Morgue Volume 1, 2, and 3. Drawing inspiration from the original album artwork, I created distinctive packaging for the VHS tapes that remained faithful to the original design.
